First Transit is looking for a Road Supervisor in Ewing, NJ! Our road supervisors are an integral part of daily operations. Road Supervisors assure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. This position also monitors and coaches bus drivers. Our Road Supervisors are responsible for:

• Performing road supervision and identify vehicle operator retraining requirements.
• Responsible for oversight of all road observations for all garages and park-outs for our location.
• Complete accident and incident reports, investigations and on site management.
• Responsible for site checks, ride checks, inspections and operation of on-board computers.
• Perform covert vehicle operator observations and manage the program of on-road planned and random supervision and evaluation of vehicle operator performance.
• Manage, monitor and coach operators utilizing our on-board video monitoring system.
• Assist with training for both new operators and existing operators
• Lead monthly safety meetings
• Assist in monitoring the daily pull-out to ensure timely operator departures
• Assist dispatch
• Perform revenue tours when needed
• Other duties as assigned

To qualify as a Road Supervisor, you'll need:

• To possess a CDL A or B w/ Passenger Endorsement
• A High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 Supervisory experience
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience required as a full time Bus Operator.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a diverse environment
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and willingness to help in a variety of situations
• Ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure effectively
