Job Description
Role context:
This role will lead in developing and activating a robust and always-on social influencer content marketing strategy. Manager will play a key role in developing influencer solutions across a range of objectives including performance-based objectives. Manager will also play a broader role in the content marketing efforts of the client, contributing to strategy, ideation and execution of custom content partnerships with media partners.
Responsibilities
  • Develop influencer and content recommendations that are designed for each unique objective and focused on critical client KPIs
  • Develop a close relationship with the in-house influencer team to ensure influencer plans are strategic, accurate, and effective
  • Negotiate influencer and content partnership plans to provide good value that balances content creation with paid distribution
  • Maintain a direct relationship with the clients to guide them through all steps of the planning and launch process
  • Serve as project manager for influencer & content partnerships, ensuring all parties are accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering within approved plan parameters
  • Guide the influencer talent selection for campaigns, providing selection parameters and vetting final talent choices
  • Supervise the content creation process, including providing clear input on key deliverables such as influencer briefs, and a strong creative point of view on final deliverables including rough cuts and final assets
  • Collaborate with Wavemaker colleagues across departments (e.g. planning, investment, data sciences) to ensure influencers & content are an interconnected part of the media plan
  • Write client presentations, briefs, pitches, and POVs
  • Analyze influencer and content program performance and develop insights that inform future recommendations
  • Develop junior team members foundational understanding of content and client services
The candidate:
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the influencer marketing space
  • Working knowledge of content development process and distribution process
  • Experience in launching influencer partnerships, the media partner landscape, and digital strategy
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Loves being creative as much as they love being a project manager
  • Proactive team player
  • Good communicator
  • Proven experience in building strong client relationships

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
