Job Description:
The position of Executive Director of Pre-college Programs is within the Division of Academic Affairs and is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of FIT's Pre-college Programs. The mission of pre-college programs is to introduce high school students to the specialized curriculum of FIT. These programs will expose students to the creative fields and allow them to test their interests and talents while giving them the opportunity to sample the college experience. The programs are offered primarily in the Summer with some shorter programming on Saturdays during the academic year. In addition, there are scholarships available through the Social Justice Center for eligible middle and high school students.
This position is responsible for coordinating the many facets of FIT's pre-college programs, and growing and expanding the repertoire of courses and the audiences we reach to enroll in the program offerings. Responsibilities range from the planning/execution of all academic pre-college programming, including identifying and hiring instructors, to coordinating pre-college operations such as marketing, communications, registration, and financial management. Special attention will be required to develop a pipeline of opportunities for students eligible for scholarships through the Social Justice Center. Similarly, coordination with the Office of Admissions, in particular the recruitment team, will be required to ensure that the pre-college experience builds a pathway to pursue additional pre-college programming and ultimately enrollment at FIT.

Salary
Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule
Days/Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm, in person; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.
