Senior Process Improvement Manager

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

From accounting and financial planning to risk/fraud analysis and payments, our Finance team ensures not only our company's financial security, but also that our customers can buy from us with confidence.

The Senior Process Improvement Manager position is a detailed oriented individual with a continuous improvement mindset that is responsible for driving process excellence across Finance Operations to support transformation goals.

Must have a strong understanding of process reengineering methodologies & tools such as Six Sigma and the ability to influence stakeholders with a proven track record of delivering results. Knowledge of finance processes & general accounting principles is strongly preferred. The applicant should display a positive and proactive demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Should be a strong communicator, both written and oral, as the position requires frequent dealings with colleagues in other parts of the organization and vendors.

In this role you will get to:

  • Conduct process improvement workshops leveraging established methodologies

  • Develop & maintain process models, maps and related documentation and establish a governance process to manage this content

  • Make recommendations to improve end-to-end processes involving Finance

  • Lead the evaluation of new systems, automation tools and 3rd party services to improve operations

  • Develop reports to provide insights into operational health status and identify key areas for improvement

  • Analysis & investigation of recurring operational issues to identify root cause and support resolution of high priority Finance issues

  • Assist in conducting capability maturity assessments for current state processes and develop the vision for future state processes and controls

  • Lead Finance engagement for new products and suppliers to ensure a smooth integration into daily operations

  • Stay up-to-date on process reengineering best practices and innovations in related technology

  • Foster a positive and collaborate work environment, promoting continuous learning and development within project teams

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience managing Finance process improvement or transformation projects

  • Leadership or managerial experience is preferred.

  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders up to Senior Management

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Experience and knowledge of process redesign methodologies

  • Expert skills in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio or Lucid Chart

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite including Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent

  • Working experience and technical knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems and related interfaces preferred

  • Experience with Data Governance and Data Management preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally

  • Strong analytical ability requiring a high degree of attention to detail

  • Experience with process mining or task mining solutions preferred

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $105,000-$130,000.
