Role Description

The Senior Marketing Manager for Pain Launch will be responsible for planning, and execution of launch efforts for our pain portfolio including canine and feline products.This individual will work with the Pain Therapeutic Area team and cross-functional partners to ensure the successful launch of the products in the development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Pain Therapeutic Area, Global Commercial Development, and Medical Affairs strategic leaders, develop the brand plans for the products in the development pipeline.
  • Develop, execute, and track the launch plans for the products in the development pipeline.
  • Work closely with a project manager to ensure flawless execution of launch plans across the Zoetis organization, including Research and Development, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Global Commercial Development, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Legal, Sales, etc.
  • Ensure strategic alignment of the pipeline and in-market portfolio by working closely with the Pain Therapeutic Area strategic leaders.
  • Mitigation plan in case the project doesn't meet expectations or barriers are found during the process.
  • Regular communication of project progress and readiness to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Lead financial planning and product forecasting for the products in the pipeline.
  • Develop materials and programs for the products during the launch period.
  • Work with the Insights & Analytics team to ensure data collection and insights generation for data-driven strategy and decision-making.
  • Work with the Net Revenue Team to determine pricing.
  • Develop internal and external communication plans.
  • Rigorously monitor and gather key veterinarian insights, competitive activities, and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies.
  • Actively work with multiple internal stakeholders (Technical Services, Marketing Managers, Commercial Team, Communications, Business Analytics, Market Research, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Learning & Development, Manufacturing, etc.) and Professional Advertising agencies to drive strong market growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of marketing leadership or related experience with demonstrable success. Animal health and veterinary marketing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business or relevant major, MBA preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing plans and programs to address a dynamic market.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing a team from a key role in a strategic business initiative.
  • Ability to favorably influence people without direct authority.Strengths in team and relationship building.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and computer software skills among standard company programs.
  • Highly responsive and results-oriented. Strategically agile and energized by a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability in handling and effectively prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Extensive knowledge of Zoetis organization, products, and the animal health industry.
  • Ability to travel to internal and external meetings, and customer interactions (25%).

Location

This position may require occasional travel for industry conferences, professional meetings, and collaboration with key stakeholders..
