Position Purpose: Individual will work closely within Change Program on cross functional projects across the US Capital Markets. Must have experience in the market and be prepared to execute in high pressure environment.
Key Accountabilities: The candidate has to be viewed as the go-to person for getting things done. The incumbent has to exercise sound judgment for when business push-back is appropriate, and come up with the best way of brokering agreement between different groups.
This role requires coordination between multiple internal partners (Front-Office, Risk, Operations, IT, and other Functions) to assess, analyze and document business needs and business and system current / future state architectures. This role also requires ability to drive projects through to completion as needed.
This person will work independently with limited supervision. He/she should be able to create the relevant project deliverables (business needs, current/future state process flows, logical/physical architecture diagrams, requirements). In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying, tracking and resolving business/cross-functional issues, reporting status, and driving tasks to completion. He/she should have excellent interpersonal skills and work constructively with people across various functional departments and geographies, also working with outside vendors as necessary to facilitate project deliverables.
It is necessary for the person to be perceived as a partner for the business, rather than a task-taker.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Experience/Background: 10+ years experience at an investment bank. Significant business analysis experience in a global environment, with complex stakeholder group.
Skills: Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills; Self-motivated and prepared to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously; Detail oriented, and able work under pressure in a fast paced global environment; Personal computer aptitude, including proficiency in MS Office and Visio; Strong interpersonal, leadership, conflict management and negotiation skills.
